Colorado Child ID Program
Across the nation, we’ve been involved in various types of child fingerprinting programs for years, but they’ve generally been ineffective and inefficient, taking up a tremendous amount of manpower. But we’ve found our solution in Colorado.
Through the use of an ink-less fingerprinting identification process, a child's fingerprint image can be captured and later placed on a Child ID card that our police officers then create to give to parents. We also provide parents with a DNA Kit along with other information related to child security. The parent or guardian fingerprints his or her own child and keeps the identification card at home, decentralizing the process for law enforcement. Likewise, prevention information, such as anti-drug or anti-gang-related messages, can easily be distributed with the ID Kit.
